Fitness in general is a discipline which consists of multiple exercises. In fitness, different from all other sports, athletes try to tighten and strengthen their muscles with or without the use of tools. In fact, it is the foundation of all other sports.
Fitness exercises are used to condition the muscle groups which are intended to be strengthened. Different goals require different training programs. We cannot talk of any standards in fitness. What comes to people's minds when they hear the word ‘fitness’ is a group of exercises which they do in order to improve their health.
Individuals with different ages, lifestyles and body types also need different exercise programs which they have to apply under the surveillance of specialist instructors. When done on a regular basis, fitness strengthens muscles; maintains/improves flexibility and density of bones; improves quality of life; helps get rid of excess weight; keeps stress at bay, improves sleep patterns and strengthens the cardiovascular system.
